Concrete Sleeper Track
SJ's 50-kilogramme rail on various types of concrete sleepers.
Farthest to the left:
Fist-fastening on a two-block sleeper of type 101. The two blocks are held together by an iron rod. This type of concrete sleeper was laid in new tracks between 1957 and 1970 but is not used to any significant extent anymore.
In the middle:
Hambo-fastening on a monoblock sleeper. This attachment was a Swedish invention. It is no longer used to any great extent.
Farthest to the right:
A modern track with Pandrol-fastening on monoblock sleepers. Nowadays, only this type of track is built in Sweden.
