The model gives an idea of what buildings and landscapes associated with the Swedish railway have looked like during different time periods.

Buildings include:

• Sävsjöström transshipment warehouse (Nässjö - Nybro line)
• Främmestad goods warehouse (Trollhättan - Nossebro line)
• Kattarp Railway Hotel and store (Skåne)
• Standard platelayer’s cottage and signal box
• Tollered hydroelectric power station
  

Boats include:

• The Steamboat "Alnö" from the Sundsvall region
• Fishing boat from Falkenberg

The buildings and landscape are handmade. The frames of the buildings are made of plastic, cardboard, wood, and clay. The landscape is modeled in gypsum spackle. Countless materials have been used to simulate vegetation and surface materials, as well as for patination.
