Tourists in the Swedish Mountains
In 1882, the railway connection was completed all the way from Stockholm, via Östersund, to Storlien in Jämtland. The mountains of Jämtland soon attracted tourists. Here we see a group on the highest mountain peak, Storsylen, around the year 1900.
